Over the past 27 years I’ve mentored men from all walks of life, from three star Generals and CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, to students, young professionals and everyday men who were simply trying to figure out how to move forward and upward in life. I believe the more we understand who we really are, the better are our chances of becoming who we really want to be.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in South Africa and by the time I got married and had my first child, I had lived on three continents, six countries and nineteen cities. During those years, I worked in various career fields, but they all centered around helping men to discover and develop a better version of themselves.

Over the last five decades, I have flourished in multiple diverse cultures, learned to speak several foreign languages, excelled at endurance sports, embraced authenticity for myself, grown from my own failures, and learned several key secrets to living a happy and meaningful life. My aim with mentoring is to help other men to become a better version of themselves, live more authentically and achieve their goals.

I work as a Lead Health and Fitness Faculty member at the Center for Creative Leadership. My formal education includes a BA in Psychology degree, a Masters of Divinity degree, a Plant-based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University and I am registered as a Health Professional with the  American College of Lifestyle Medicine. I am also enrolled as a Ph.D. student in the field of applied leadership and coaching at Monarch University, Switzerland.

I specialize in mentoring men to focus on the three areas of life that matter most:  SELF, RELATIONSHIPS and WORK. In our one on one sessions we will address each area. Each mentoring program is customized according to the individuals needs. There are three broad stages in any engagement: 1. Listening to an individual’s needs. 2. Mentoring in the tools and awareness that is necessary to facilitate change. 3. Mentoring to facilitate and maintain a flourishing and sustainable whole of life balance.

Many of my face to face sessions take place in natural environments depending on the weather. Being outdoors helps one to get objectivity regarding a better way of living.  It’s essential to be removed from the physical environment of your normal roles and responsibilities; and as most of my clients work indoors in professional services firms, or are business owners, CEOs, Doctors, Barristers, Financial planners, etc, they tell me that they like to spend time outdoors. Also, neuroscience research suggests that when we spend time in nature it automatically dials down any stress that we are currently experiencing and also boosts general health.

MY PERFORMANCE HAS DECLINED: In all areas of my life my performance has declined.
I can’t seem to perform the way I used to, and I don’t know why.

MY HEALTH HAS DECLINED: I feel sluggish. I’m overweight. I’ve become lazy. My diet is poor. I’m often sick.

I’VE LOST MY MOJO: My energy is low. I’m always tired. I don’t sleep well. I have no passion for life. I feel useless.

I FEEL CONFUSED: My values have changed. My beliefs have changed. No one understands. The world isn’t the same. I don’t know what to do.

I FEEL DISCONNECTED: I feel disconnected from people. I feel alienated. I’m disconnected from my body. I feel totally alone.

I FEEL UNHEARD: No one understands me. I can’t talk to my friends and family. I have no one to share with.

I LIVE IN THE PAST: I regret my past. I live in the past. I don’t know how to let go. I can’t be present.

I DON’T KNOW MY MISSION: I am stuck in this job. I don’t know my true passion. I don’t want to stay in this job but I have no idea what I should be doing.

Whilst I still work with athletes to improve their holistic performance, more recently I have been working with men from all walks of life, helping them to overcome perceived blockages in many areas such as: Improving self-esteem, optimizing communication, intimate relationships, sexuality, mission finding, career transition, conscious business, holistic health and wellness, weight loss, conscious evolution, and too many other areas to mention.

What separates me from others is the fact I have a significant level of experience in the areas of  Physical, Nutritional, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual Health
